Power of Particles of the Substance

People's effort on the understanding of the universe we live still continues under the field called particle physics. Thinking about the most fundamental building blocks that constitute the universe and the fundamental interactions between them led people to ask more questions and develop novel technologies. However, there still are a lot of questions waiting for their answers in particle physics.

Some of the puzzles and problems in SM are listed below:

• Huge number of free parameters in the model
• Symmetry of quarks and leptons
• Asymmetry of matter and antimatter
• Non-merging electro-weak and strong forces
• Gravitation
• Neutrino mass
• Family replication
• Hierarchy problems
• Charge quantization

A number of solutions are proposed to solve these puzzles:

• Compositeness
• Extra-dimensions
• Grand Unified Theories
• SUper-SYmmetry (SUSY)
• String Theory
In our project, we assume that there are more "fundamental" particles beyond the ones we know.
